Dari Bantuan Sosial Menuju Kemandirian Ekonomi: Pelatihan Hair Cutting Berbantuan Video Digital

Abstract

Program bantuan sosial berperan sebagai instrumen perlindungan terhadap kerentanan ekonomi, tetapi keberlanjutan kesejahteraan penerima manfaat memerlukan penguatan kapasitas produktif. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan desain pemberdayaan melalui pelatihan hair cutting, menganalisis peran video digital dalam pembelajaran keterampilan prosedural, mengkaji keterkaitan praktik hair cutting dengan technical competence, soft skills, dan work readiness, merumuskan jalur employment dan self-employment, serta menyusun model keberlanjutan menuju aktivitas produktif dan kemandirian ekonomi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama enam bulan, Maret-Agustus 2026, di Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Jember menggunakan pendekatan action-oriented community empowerment. Data diperoleh melalui observasi pelaksanaan, dokumentasi foto, telaah dokumen, dan asesmen/observasi unjuk kerja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan dapat dirancang melalui integrasi asesmen kebutuhan, pelatihan hair cutting, video digital, praktik terbimbing, simulasi layanan, soft skills, dan kewirausahaan. Video digital berfungsi sebagai visual scaffolding untuk memperjelas prosedur dan memungkinkan pengulangan materi, sedangkan praktik langsung menghubungkan pengetahuan prosedural dengan tuntutan layanan dan kerja. Kompetensi hair cutting selanjutnya diarahkan pada work readiness melalui penguatan sanitasi, keselamatan kerja, komunikasi, disiplin, adaptabilitas, dan pelayanan. Model yang dirumuskan menghubungkan social protection → capacity building → technical competence → work readiness → employment/self-employment → productive activity → economic independence. Kemandirian ekonomi dan peningkatan self-efficacy belum diklaim sebagai dampak terukur karena memerlukan pengukuran longitudinal dan tracer.
